Queen Bess in Warwick

This was a surprise for tourists picking up maps and information in the Warwick Visitor Information Centre – Good Queen Bess dropping by with some courtiers.

Queen Elizabeth I was in town to mark the Shakespeare 400 Festival, which has a range of events taking place in Warwick commemorating the death of the bard in 1616. Look at our ‘What’s On in Warwick’ under Events on this website, to see some of the music, poetry and talks coming up locally.
