Justice returns to the Court House!

After eight months in restoration the statue of Justice was re-installed in her niche on the front of the Court House on Tuesday July 2nd.

Removed at the end of last October the statue has been at the workshop of Eura Ltd in Telford undergoing a full restoration as reported earlier in this blog. The high quality lead statue had lost her sword and was in dire need of repairs. A steel armature was welded in place inside the statue in order to reinforce and strengthen her before repairs to the lead were made including a new right hand.

After many coats of protective paint, a newly made sword and gold gilding applied to the scales , the statue returned to Warwick last week to take up her place on the Court House once again.
