Local Rural Music in Unitarian Chapel 23rd July
On 23rd July, as part of the Warwick Folk Festival Fringe, Immanuel’s Ground West Gallery Quire will perform “Immanuel’s Ground on Trial”. It’s a story in song and words using local rural music from 1725 to the mid 19th century.
Originally scheduled for the Court House Ballroom, the performance will now take place in the Unitarian Chapel in the High Street.
The singers and musicians will be in period costume for the performance from 2.30pm to 3.10pm. It will be followed at 3.30pm by a workshop for instrumentalists and singers. It costs only £5 at the door and for Folk Festival combined ticket holders there’s no extra charge.
