If you like table-top games, this month’s friendly social tea “In the Ballroom”on Thursday 20th July should suit you. As well as tea, coffee and some fine cakes, you can win a prize at Beetle and pit your wits on a choice of other table top games.

So bring a friend or two and have a go, as Wilfred Pickles used to say.

The games afternoon will run from 2pm to 4.30pm in the Regency ballroom in the Jury Street Court House, just above the Visitor Information Centre. It costs just £2 a head to cover the cost of refreshments.

‘In the Ballroom’ is organised by Unlocking Warwick volunteers on behalf of Warwick Town Council, and supported by the Big Lottery ‘Awards for All’ and the King Henry VIII Endowed Trust.

The dates for rest of the year are August 17th, September 14th, October 12th, November 9th and December 7th.
