Remembrance Day – Picture Gallery

On Remembrance Sunday, 12th November, there was an impressive turn out of residents and visitors who joined the outdoor service at the Warwick war memorial in Church Street.

The two minutes’ silence at 11am was followed by prayers led by Reverend Vaughan Roberts from St. Mary’s Church, and wreath-laying by representatives of all the local community and civic organisations.

Then the various groups paying tribute to those who fell in both world wars and subsequent conflicts marched through the town.

Afterwards, the councillors, and guests representing charities, the services, community groups and youth organisations gathered in the Court House ballroom for refreshments served by Unlocking Warwick volunteers. Here is a selection  of pictures; click on them to see them full-size.
