The County Council has launched a consultation on their interesting proposals to improve traffic flow through the centre of Warwick, to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists and to reduce air pollution caused by traffic queues.

These proposals include a first phase with a 20mph speed limit throughout the central zone, and a second phase with more one-way systems, including the High Street, Jury Street and The Butts.

An exhibition of the plans with a video of traffic flow will be on show outside Shire Hall in the Market Place during market day on Saturday 9th July, with representatives of the County Council’s Transport Planning Group on hand to answer questions.

The proposals will also be available online from that date and the council is hoping for as many views from residents as possible during the consultation period.

Paper copies of the questionnaire will be available at the exhibition.
